Lawsuit Filed in Sexual Abuse Case


SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) A lawsuit has been filed in a sexual abuse case involving a former vocational instructor.

The Moran Law Group is representing four students who were sexually abused by former Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County automotive instructor, Richard Humphrey.

Teacher Sentenced for Assaulting Students

SCRANTON, Pa. —  A former teacher in Lackawanna County was sentenced Tuesday to almost a year in jail for molesting close to a dozen of his students.

The former automotive tech teacher at the Lackawanna County Career Technology Center was sent to jail after a sentencing hearing in Scranton.
